What is ethical investing?

Ethical investing is a wide and complex area. We understand that investing is a very personal thing. Here at Booster we offer our members the choice of different KiwiSaver and Investment funds, so you can decide which option is right for you.

You might feel investing in a standard fund that applies responsible investing principles is just right. Or, you might prefer to invest in a socially responsible investment fund that more strongly aligns with your personal values.

Booster's investment approach

Booster applies a responsible investment (RI) approach across all our KiwiSaver and Investment funds. This means we consider a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors when making investment decisions.

For investors who prefer to apply a values-based approach to investing, Booster also offers specialised socially responsible investment (SRI) funds. Our SRI funds exclude investments in nine socially-controversial industries.
