2022 was a bit of a wild ride and lots has happened. We now have a family of over 179,000 KiwiSaver members growing stronger each day, which is about the same as the population of Hamilton.
Kia Ora, if you're one of those who has joined us recently, it's been a big year. We've received three Canstar awards for outstanding value and you showed us that you love investing responsibly.
It was your most popular option this year and you had plenty of choice with 17 RIAA certified responsible funds, meaning you can invest with a clear conscience.
We helped put the green back in the green houses with our latest Booster Innovation Fund investment Hot Lime Labs. It joined one of 30 start ups, in our Booster Innovation fund, aiming to change the world.
Kiwi's money helped to plant new Hope Farms in Nelson, sell premium butter to Americans in Missouri and grow 1500 tons of delicious New Zealand avocados.
In 2022 we helped over 12,000 members access their KiwiSaver savings. Over 1200 people got into their first home and nearly 10,000 people got on with their retirement plans. The Booster Foundation was launched to support new Zealanders in their communities to improve their financial resilience and reduce financial inequality.
