Booster’s experienced senior management team has been very stable, with six of the nine having worked together for over a decade.
Paul is a senior corporate / commercial lawyer based in Wellington, where he is a partner in Minter Ellison Rudd Watts.
He has over 25 years’ experience working with companies in the financial services, manufacturing and energy fields. He is a past director of NZX- and ASX-listed companies and a Chartered Fellow of the NZ Institute of Directors.
Paul has been involved with Booster since the start in 1998.
Allan originally formed the Grosvenor Financial Services Group – now called Booster Financial Services – back in 1998.
Before then, he held senior banking roles with Barclays Bank PLC in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Allan has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, specialising in technology, accounting, unit pricing and taxation of investor products.
Since joining Booster at the start in 1998, Allan has been the Head of IT and Operations, Chief Operating Officer.
David joined Booster as Chief Investment Officer in 2000.
He has over 30 years' experience in investment management and portfolio research. This includes 16 years at a major Australasian bank, where he was responsible for $1.5 billion of managed funds.
Alison joined Booster in 2007 with 20 years of experience in investment banking and energy markets, focusing on settlement and administration.
Alison also has a strong business analyst background gained from the various roles she has performed during her career.
Before joining Booster in 2005, Gary was an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specialising in the financial services industry, and the Head of Risk Management at AMP Financial Services.
Diana joined Booster in 2015. Before then, she was a member of the senior management team at BP, where she worked for ten years.
With significant experience in marketing and strategy, Diana is passionate that people should be at the centre of everything we do.
Brendon joined Booster in February 2017 as a director of Booster Investment Management Limited (BIML). At the same time, he took on joint leadership of the Booster Tahi Limited Partnership, through which Booster invests in unlisted private companies.
Brendon has 17 years of experience in financial markets with banks and the New Zealand government. This includes being the Global Head of Capital Markets at Westpac in Sydney between 2005 and 2011, and, more recently, Deputy Secretary Financial and Commercial Operations at the NZ Treasury.
Duncan joined Booster in March 2017 to jointly lead the team responsible for the Booster Tahi Limited Partnership, through which Booster invests in unlisted private companies.
Duncan spent 14 years at an international bank, six of those as New Zealand country manager, followed by 13 years as a corporate finance partner at a Big Four accounting firm. His most recent role before Booster was leading an internal mergers and acquisition team for a major New Zealand investment entity.
